             Remidio Digi FOP is the world's first smartphone enabled, high quality retinal imaging system. The system uses high quality, precision optics to illuminate and image the retina. Extremely low intensities of a warm-white LED light source is used as part of the patent-pending optical design. This ensures a stress-free experience for the patient unlike conventional mydriatic desktop fundus cameras.

             The system uses a high-definition (HD) camera enabled smartphone to digitally capture the retinal images. The smartphone adaptor can be removed to view the retina using the mono-ocular eyepiece, providing the convenience of both an opthalmoscope as well as a digital fundus camera in a single product.

             The optical design of the system strikes a unique balance between Field of View and magnification. A high magnification (10x) view of the retina is made possible of a minimum 45° FOV
